ANASAZI Golden Retrievers

Growing up in the dog fancy was a wonder filled childhood. My best friends were the Goldens that participated in my childhood games. From playing house to pretending to be in a Jack London book, Goldens were always there. 

 

As I grew up and knew that I would be moving out on my own, I chose to get a Miniature Pinscher named Rocky. Rocky was my first dog that was all mine and he was my  "learning to be an adult" dog. He was with me through college, my first apartment, getting married and first home. 

 

I met my husband Andrew in 1999 and moved to the Midwest for several years. In that time Rocky aged and I knew we wanted a dog to show. We looked at several breeds while in the Midwest and even after we moved back to Arizona.  

 

I finally decided on a Golden and my mom helped me surprise Andrew with the addition of a Golden in 2011. That puppy was Jinx who went on to become my first at so many things including my first owner handled AKC Champion. 

 

About a year and a half later we added Tilt who became the foundation of our own line of Goldens. And in 2016 we went to Italy to import Tizzy to add genetic diversity to our program

 

Our focus is on golden temperament, health and correct structure. We don't just talk the talk, we walk the walk by proving our dogs have what it takes to make the next generation even better. We complete all the health testing on our breeding dogs recommended by the Golden Retriever Club of America's Code of Ethics and make all easily verifiable to you. We prove our dogs' temperaments and structure in competition in the AKC, UKC and/or the GRCA's Certificate of Conformation Assessment program. All this means you can rest assured we are doing everything we can to produce a better Golden and we are transparent about our dogs.
